The Bank of Glacier County name has a long, distinguished history in Cut Bank. Originally established in 1935, this bank has been servicing the needs of Glacier County and the surrounding area for 69 years. Cut Bank is uniquely located where Montana's rolling wheat fields meet the majesty of Glacier National Park and the Rocky Mountains.
The Bank of Glacier County serves customers over a 100-mile radius, including the 2 million acre Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Cut Bank means agriculture, and the majority of our $40 million in assets is agriculture related. The Bank has helped the area farmers grow highly sought-after premium hard red wheat and malting barley. The long summer days, cool nights, and measured precipitation produce the hight protein wheat used for pasta and bread, and high protein malt barley prized by brewers. Glacier County is also cattle country, producing extremely high weaning-weight calves due to the cool mountain spring waters and high protein grass for grazing.
The Bank of Glacier County became a part of the Flathead Bank of Bigfork family
on July 10, 2004. The Bank of Glacier County is located at 24 East Main Street, Cut Bank. A 24-hour ATM is located at the Bank and at the Albertsons grocery store located at the west end of Cut Bank.
